Brent Redevelopment / Bypass

The Brent Bypass Project in the Central North Sea region is part of the overall de-commissioning of the four platforms (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta) and provides the solution to decouple the Brent Field from the FLAGS pipeline.

The project is to be conducted in various phases by Shell UK Ltd to ensure the safe closure of the four platforms and subsea infrastructure.

Following a competitive bid process LFF were awarded Phase I of the reconfiguration work in 2012 for the supply of HYCS & Super Duplex pipe, fittings, flanges, swivels & induction bends and have continued to supply material on an ongoing basis throughout 2016.

The project was managed by our Aberdeen office and engineering support provided at our EEC manufacturing locations by our Italian based Group Engineering Manager.
